DLC character comes with Cirque du Soleil themed costumes for Shadoz (Fleur from Alegria), Xochitl (Zoé from Quidam), Zi Lang (Little Buddha from Dralion) and Red Axe (Court Jester from Kà). Also comes with a patch which allows you to fight against Luther Schneider in Story and Online modes for free if he's not yet downloaded.

GAMEPLAY INFO:

Special Moves:

• Ink Splat: Hold B for 3 seconds, F + S (He launches a small orb of ink to his opponent.)
• Claw Spin: Hold D for 3 seconds, U + S (He spins himself upwards like a top to slash his opponent.)
• Jester Ball: Hold B for 3 seconds, F + K (He rolls himself like a ball towards his opponent while covered in ink.)
• Hand-Stand: Press D three times + K (He does a handstand with his clawed gloves cleaved in the ground. Can walk freely during the maneuver and also be followed by either Donkey Kick [LK], Capoeira Kick [MK] or Acrobatic Kick [HK], the latter allowing him to return to his fighting stance. Press S to cancel the move.)

Spirit Summons:

• Inked Joke: HCF + S and K (Inksquid shows up out of nowhere and drops ink below his opponent.)
• Tentacle Break: HCB + S and K (Inksquid grabs his opponent's arms and legs with his tentacles and "breaks" him/her in two before he pulls off.)

Limit Breaks:

• Ink Baloon: Hold B for 3 seconds, F, B, F + S (He launches a big ball of ink to his opponent, trapping him/her for ten seconds, before it breaks off.)
• Jester Pinball: Hold B for 3 seconds, F, B, F + K (He rolls himself like a ball while covered in ink to the entire "screen", attacking his opponent in many directions.)
• Mad Jester*: QCB, HCF + 3S (Funzo prepares by doing a V-cross pose with his gloved blades while he says "Why so serious?" and then inflates a big ink ball to his opponent. If the ink explodes, his opponent gets pushed suddenly as Funzo slashes his opponent's face two times with his clawed gloves, followed by a kick to his face, knocking him/her down. Lastly, he generates an ink bomb to his downed opponent as he says "Have a good smile!", eventually exploding it as he/she flies to the ground.)

Murder Acts:

• Blinded Division: F, U, B, D + MS (Funzo launches two ink blots to his opponent's eyes. He then impales him/her in both the eyes and abdomen as he/she screams by the gouging before he rips his opponent's body in two and throws the upper body to the other side. He then does a "Thank You!" pose as he says "Ta da!". Physical Murder. Sweep distance.)
• Tentacle Shredding: D, U, U, F + LK (Funzo summons Inksquid behind his opponent. The squid spirit traps his/her limbs with his tentacles and stretches them with enough strength while he/she screams of pain, before he separates them from the rest of the body, including the torso itself vertically and the head, falling these parts to the ground. Spiritual Murder. Medium distance.)

STORY MODE:

Prologue:

(Shows the book in one page a drawing of Funzo doing a fancy pose, followed by his name below, and then in the other page, a series of texts will show up with the following prologue here.)
The jesters, comedians at the service of the king, originated in England. There are two types of jesters: Those who entertain people with their comical acts to the masses and those who are sadists with a wicked sense of humor.

Funzo Jack represents the latter category. Reznik Jelinek, from Prague, is considered as one of the most dangerous criminals of Europe by commiting atrocious crimes all while maintaining his sinister smile.

One day, Funzo heard a mysterious voice out of nowhere, and out of loyatly, decides to serve him as a master. Said voice ordered him with only one purpose, eradicate the one who sealed his master years ago: Deathstructor.

Stage 4 Interlude - VS. Shadoz

Pre-Fight Cutscene:

(Scene takes place in Dark Forest. Funzo is walking happily before he stands.)
Funzo: "Oh my, my... This place is too dark! I like it!"
(Suddenly, he looks around as a wisp shows up, as it turns into a portal, which allows Shadoz to appear in front of Funzo.)
Shadoz: "You are not allowed to step Deathopia."
Funzo: "Shady, Shady, Shady... I heard you used to be a human in the past."
Shadoz: "My master restored me as a revenant, discarding my humanity."
Funzo: "Urgh... I wouldn't discard my humanity if I were you."
(Shadoz appoints his sword to Funzo's neck.)
Shadoz: "You dare to mock me, clown?"
(Funzo pokes the sword's tip quickly, getting it off.)
Funzo: "For your information, I'm Funzo Jack, and I'm a jester, plain and simple."
(Shadoz orders his wisp to attack Funzo, but the jester launches ink to the wisp, retreating it back.)
Shadoz: "That way you fight is cheating!"
Funzo: "I am more of a tricky warrior, gloomy knight."
Shadoz: "You wouldn't survive my darkness, honorless warrior!"
(Both are now in their fighting stances.)

After Match Cutscene:

(Shadoz is kneeled down in defeat.)
Shadoz: "Why? A mere jester like you defeated me?"
Funzo: "Give up, you Deathopian scum!"
Shadoz: "Are you sided with those warriors they call BeastKnights?"
Funzo: "Me? No chance in heck! I will never side with those goody-two shoes in first place!"
Shadoz: "Then, why do you work for?"
Funzo: "The voice I hear in my head... belongs to my master!"
Shadoz: "This means my honor is tarnished because of your pettyness?"
(Shadoz starts to get up.)
Funzo: "Let me explain... he mentioned that your master, Deathstructor, sealed mines eons ago. That's why I'm going to Deathopia... to eradicate the skeletal lord and free my master from the sealing."
(Shadoz attempts to attack Funzo, but he counters by kicking him in the lower parts, falling the undead knight down.)
Shadoz: "You filthy cur!"
Funzo: "The reason why I don't want to join the Deathopians is because I'm going for your master's head!"
Shadoz: "Once I recover from this pain... I will kill you!"
Funzo: "If you excuse me... I don't want to lose more time here!"
(Funzo then walks out of the stage as the camera focuses on Shadoz still laying down.)
Shadoz: "Deathstructor... I finally found the warrior you're mentioning."
(Shadoz orders his wisp to create a portal, allowing him to get out.)

Fated Battle - VS. Luther Schneider

Pre-Fight Cutscene:

(Scene takes place outside of Deathstructor's Castle, where we see dark brown mountains, a couple of bones and dark gray clouds that cover the entire sky, followed by lightning coming from said clouds.)
Funzo: "My master would be proud!"
(Just when Funzo almost steps the bridge, his feet suddenly feels a strange sensation in his feet before getting tripped by it through violet magnetic waves.)
Funzo: "Hey! I almost stepping on it!"
(Funzo gets up and sees Luther, which arrives to scene in front of him.)
Luther: "Surrender now in the name of the Holy Roman Empire!"
Funzo: "So, you must be one of those goody-two shoes they call BeastKnights."
Luther: "That's why I fight for justice in first place!"
Funzo: "In this case... let's dance!"
(Luther challenges Funzo and goes to his fighting stance.)
Luther: "How long will take this duel?"
Funzo: "Two minutes! I will finish you... in two minutes!"
(Funzo accepts his challenge and goes to his fighting stance.)

After Match Cutscene:

(Luther tries to get up as Funzo walks closer to him.)
Luther: "What are you doing with me?"
Funzo: "Just wait and see."
(Funzo uses his ink to draw a smile to Luther's face.)
Luther: "What class of insult is this?"
Funzo: "You didn't know it? That is what I call: The Smile of Despair."
Luther: "This means... I'll be suffering for eternity."
Funzo: "You got the idea!"
(The smile ink suddenly transitions to a black glued trap to Luther as Funzo laughs.)
Luther: "Monster! When I free from this trap... I will capture and then bring you to justice!"
Funzo: "There's no justice for you, guard. Only... injustice!"
(Funzo walks towards Deathstructor's castle.)

Sub-Boss Cutscene:

(We cut to Deathstructor's lair as we hear his laugh as he sees Funzo through a crystal ball.)
Deathstructor: "So you have decided to fight me... However, this isn't going to happen soon."
(Deathstructor's skeletal right hand glows to the crystal ball. We cut to the castle with Funzo walking towards, as a black energy teleports him to a platform in a cave with lava surrounding it.)
Funzo: "Wait a minute... This is not Deathopia!"
(We hear an animal growl for a while. Then, an hybrid creature starts to land the ground with a huge shockwave.)
Mantigore: "Nobody's going to step Deathopia, mortal!"
Funzo: "Oh my, my! You're the famous Mantigore of the Ghost Dimension!"
Mantigore: "I don't fear you, disgusting piece of human scum!"
Funzo: "Wanna play? I warn you that will be dangerous!"
(Mantigore screams in front of Funzo. The latter is now in his combat stance afterwards.)
Mantigore: "You don't scare me with that sinister smile of yours!"
Funzo: "That sinister smile is the last thing you will see."

Final Boss Cutscene:

(Mantigore kneels down, battered and bruised with markings.)
Mantigore: "You... are really... evil!"
Funzo: "And I'm really proud for it, undomesticated kitten!"
Mantigore: "My time here is over... please tell your master that he shouldn't ever take over the world... but I'm going to rest myself peacefully at my homeland."
(Mantigore falls up down as his eyes start to close as his ethereal body starts to disappear in front of him.)
Funzo: "Yuck... I never liked him in first place."
(We cut to Deathstructor's lair, as he gets angry for Mantigore's vanishing, seeing through a crystal ball.)
Deathstructor: "FUNZOOOO!!!! How dare you to eliminate Mantigore?" *grins* "Once I have finished with you... I'll break that box where your master is sealed!"
(Deathstructor's skeletal right hand glows to the crystal ball.  We cut back to the cave as Funzo is feeling a strange sensation.)
Funzo: "My master would be proud for this moment!"
(Dark energies causes Funzo to be teleported to Deathstructor's throne room, a place located in the top of the castle, decorated in dark fantasy architecture. Deathstructor is seen sitting in his black throne.)
Deathstructor: "Funzo Jack! I heard you're attempting to off me!"
Funzo: "That's correct, Deathstructor!"
Deathstructor: "Bad news, you can't stop the future harbinger of apocalypse!"
Funzo: "I wonder why you sealed my master in first place?"
Deathstructor: "You're referring to that one time destroyer?"
Funzo: "You got the idea! I read from some documents that you used to be Xanatosaurus... or I am wrong?"
Deathstructor: "I was, but I'm no longer the Ancient Animal Spirit I used to be!"
Funzo: "Sounds like species treachery, if you ask me!"
Deathstructor: "And yet you're a repulsive, disgusting human being with your petty crimes!"
Funzo: "You know what... catch this!"
(Funzo launches ink from his bladed gloves, only for Deathstructor to dissipate it with his hand and then unearths his scythe, Black Cleaver, out of the ground and grabs it as he starts to walk outside of his throne to the square one in front of Funzo.)
Deathstructor: "This is the last straw! I can't believe a human like you is commiting the most heinous crimes!"
Funzo: "At last I can get away with them!"
Deathstructor: "Enough of your jokes! Your days as the entertainer of crime will be over!"
(Funzo is now assuming in his combat stance.)

Ending cutscene:

(Deathstructor is defeated, however he gets up easily.)
Deathstructor: "I hate you, jester! I really hate you with all of my fiber of my being!"
Funzo: "Don't thank me, skeletal lord! My master will be unsealed!"
Deathstructor: "Your master will not be unsealed as long as I exist!"
(Deathstructor runs towards Funzo and attempts to attack him, but is countered by his clawed gloves, impaling the skeletal ruler in the chest for five seconds and then pulls off. Deathstructor starts to feel that his ironic death is starting now.)
Deathstructor: "Foolish clown! By eradicating me, a worse threat will arrive!"
Funzo: "And said threat happens to be the voice he talked in my head... Horocron!"
(Funzo leaves the castle as the components of it are starting to fall while energy waves are starting to surround Deathstructor.)
Deathstructor: "You will rue for this day, Funzo Jack!"
(The waves cause Deathstructor to explode into bones. We cut to Funzo leaving the castle and summons Inksquid, grabs the spirit's back as the Deathopian castle is falling into pieces. We cut to a court of Prague as Funzo is seen sitting bored.)
Funzo: "Now that I offed the skeletal lord for good, I got nothing to do. Perhaps I should return to the castle and find out."
(Funzo gets up and walks slowly, however a mysterious blue-colored box appeared out of nowhere in front of him.)
Funzo: "I wonder what's this strange box."
(Funzo grabs the second Box of Laments... that is until it releases a powerful wave, eventually releasing Horocron, a light blue skinned man wearing a copper-clad armor that resembles N. Trophy from the Crash Bandicoot games and wielding a Sci-Fi themed time-controlling stick. He talks with Funzo.)
Horocron (voiced by Sacha Baron Cohen): "Congratulations, my proud disciple for freeing me from this unworthy prison!"
Funzo: "Are you... the real Horocron?"
Horocron: "Of course I am, Funzo! After you offed my hated arch-enemy, the one who sealed me eons ago, I'm now continuing with my plan to destroy the timeline and replace it with a new one more fitting to my likeness, only for us... and a few ones... to rule!"
Funzo: "Us? And who else?"
Horocron: "Please come at my watchtower... and I'll explain the motive for our mission."
(Horocron gives to Funzo an invitation.)
Funzo: "I'll be there... master!"
Horocron: "Very well... I'll be preparing this soon."
(Funzo summons a portal from his stick as he leaves the scene. Funzo is pondering something.)
Funzo: "Hmph... what ideas I have today? At one point, I was considering travelling to the realm of Zoarin... but for now, let's kill some hopeless victims."
(Later, we cut to the Prague Street as some civilians are walking peacefully, until a big ball of ink coming upwards splashes them. They turn to see Funzo sitting in a portable throne, talking with a loudspeaker in hand.)
Funzo: "Have you wondered why you're pranked today?"
Civilians: "No?"
Funzo: "That's because this will be your last day... courtesy of my dearest master... The Time Destroyer, Horocron!"
(Funzo presses a button from the chair for a group of robotic-looking machines, resembling Brainiac's Betas from Injustice 2, to show up. They start to kill the civilians in gruesome manners for twenty seconds as Funzo is seen laughing maniatically.)
Funzo: "Suffer, my hopeless victims... because sooner or later, your time will be ours!"
(However, Funzo feels that the "camera" is watching him.)
Funzo: "What are you looking? Get out of my sight, you piece of dung!"
(Funzo launches ink to the "camera", covering it to black, and then we hear how the evil jester kills the "cameraman", complete with blood splattering sounds and screams of the victim.)
Funzo (v/o): "If someone witness this massacre... I'll swear that I'll remove your smiling face from your head!"
(After that, the ending is finished.)

(Avril Lavigne's "Keep Holding On" starts playing as the credits which background is accompanied of a papyrus with ink-stained reflections of the Animal Spirits while the credits are rolling.)
