GAMEPLAY INFO:

Special Moves:

• Venom Blast: QCF + S (She launches acid from her daggers.)
• Dagger Spin: QCB + S (She spins like an helicopter with her daggers towards her opponent.)
• Toxic Stab: HCB + K (She jumps and impales her opponent with her daggers three times and then kicks him/her down.)
• Leg Grab: HCF + K (She jumps and puts her legs to her opponents shoulders, sending him/her to the other side, similar to Pagan's Leg Throw.)

Spirit Summons:

• Poisonous Bite: HCF + S and K (Snakespitter jumps and bites in her opponent's neck, gradually decreasing his/her health at 2% for ten seconds.)
• Snatching Tail: HCB + S and K (Snakespitter jumps and strangles her opponent to the neck and then she uses her tail to knock him/her down.)

Limit Breaks:

• Venom Burst: QCFx2 + S (She presses the buttons from her dagger and creates a big spherical acid puddle, hitting six times, similar to Chun-Li's Kikousho.)
• Dagger Wheel: QCBx2 + S (She rushes her opponent and spins her daggers like a windmill, slashing her opponent five times in succession.)
• Thief's Way*: QCB, HCF + 3S (Tifa assumes a striking pose and says "I'll finish you now!" and hits her opponent with her daggers. Once it makes contact, she starts to hit him/her with a series of slashes from both daggers, and then locks her legs to her opponent's shoulders, allowing her to "snap" his/her neck with her legs, drops her opponent to the ground and finishes by impaling her opponent with the daggers as she says "Die!" before she gets off of the hold.)

Murder Acts:

• Sweet Melting: D, B, F, D + MS (Tifa impales her opponent with her two daggers as she presses the buttons, injecting acid to him/her before she pulls off. Later we see how her opponent starts to scream as his/her body is starting to melt into an skeleton with exposed muscular system parts as he/she falls dead. Physical Murder. Close distance.)
• Viper Chomp: U, D, F, F + LK (Tifa summons Snakespitter behind her opponent. The snake spirit starts to gouge in his/her eyes with her fangs. Then she enters inside her opponent and starts to eat his/her inner body parts displayed in X-Ray and then she opens his/her abdomen by spitting acid as she exits from his/her falling body to the death as she returns to her owner. Spiritual Murder. Middle distance.)

STORY MODE:

Prologue:

(Shows the book in one page a drawing of Tifa doing a furious pose while holding her daggers, followed by her name below, and then in the other page, a series of texts will show up with the following prologue here.)
The theft is referred as the act of unauthorized taking, keeping or use of another's property without any permission, usually acompany of the thiefs' dishonesty or ability to deprive the owner's possesion of the things they take. The known methods of thievery are burglary, embezzlement, larceny, looting, robbery, shoplifting, library theft, and fraud. Theft itself is considered as a crime by the law in many countries.

Tifa Eillan, the younger sister of Gretchen, refused to follow Duncan and Sophia's footsteps as a sorcerer due to her disinterest on magic, much to their dismay. This caused a rift between both sisters, until they decided that they discard Tifa from the family tradition, and as a result, she was treated like dirt by her relatives, classmates and the rest of the villagers.

After that, Tifa is now declared as the black sheep of the Eillan family and had to run away from home. Later, she would become a criminal after being enlisted by a secret group called the Thief's Guild. She's currently assigned to take the Crystal Skull, belonging to the Deathopian ruler, Deathstructor, as a way to demonstrate her loyalty to her master.

Stage 4 Interlude - VS. Paulo Agostinho

Pre-Fight Cutscene:

(Scene takes place in the Amazonian Rainforest. Tifa is seen sneaking in Paulo's house.)
Tifa: "Where's the map? I need it to locate Deathopia!"
????: "Who's there?"
Tifa: "Darn it! I must do it quickly!"
(Then, Paulo climbs to his house and sees Tifa, who turns around.)
Paulo: "I found you, thief!"
Tifa: "Who are you?"
Paulo: "I am Paulo Agostinho and this is my house."
Tifa: "Wait a minute... are you living here?"
Paulo: "Exactly... so, go away or I will report you to the chief!"
Tifa: "I need the map for the location of the Crystal Skull!"
Paulo: "Then, go against me!"
(Tifa and Paulo start to clash their weapons to each other, that is until the thief tackles the explorer out of the house's door and they fall to the square one. Both of them get up afterwards.)
Tifa: "You dare to interrupt me? So this means I will intoxicate you!"
Paulo: "Not a good idea, bad woman!"
(Both are now preparing their weapons.)

After Match Cutscene:

(Tifa watches a still unconscious Paulo.)
Tifa: "I win... now, give me the map!"
(Paulo starts to get up.)
Paulo: "Okay! You got it!" *he calls Macawhee with a whistle*
(Macawhee, Paulo's Animal Spirit, is summoned and gives the map to Tifa. She proceeds to read carefuly.)
Paulo: "For what do you need the map?"
(Tifa finishes reading the map as Macawhee disappears and Paulo gets up.)
Tifa: "Ever heard of Deathopia?"
Paulo: "The chief of the Tupi tribe knew about it."
Tifa: "The place is where the Crystal Skull is located."
Paulo: "So, what are you planning with that object?"
Tifa: "My master need it for research."
Paulo: "This explains all."
Tifa: "Don't tell anyone... but I'm a member of the Thief's Guild. If you mention it to anyone, you're dead."
Paulo: "Okay, I understand. Your secret is safe with me."
Tifa: "On the other hand... you look pretty, for a half-blood like you. See ya!"
(Tifa then jumps out of the stage as the camera focuses on Paulo scratching his head.)
Paulo: "I don't get it! I just befriended a thief!"

Fated Battle - VS. Gretchen Eillan

Pre-Fight Cutscene:

(Scene takes place outside of Deathstructor's Castle, where we see dark brown mountains, a couple of bones and dark gray clouds that cover the entire sky, followed by lightning coming from said clouds.)
Tifa: "I finally found the place where the Crystal Skull is located."
(Tifa is almost going to step the bridge, that is until out of sudden, Gretchen appears in front of her sister.)
Gretchen: "You shall not pass, sister!"
Tifa: "I need the Crystal Skull! Don't interfere!"
Gretchen: "Tifa, this is absurd!"
Tifa: "It's not, Gretchen! I want to demonstrate my parents that I'm better than you!"
Gretchen: "Prove it!"
(Both Tifa and Gretchen start to clash their weapons for ten seconds before they return back to the square one.)
Tifa: "Our bad blood will be finished once I finish you!"
Gretchen: "I will stop your thievery immediately once you step the jail, sister!"
(Both are now in their fighting stances.)

After Match Cutscene:

(Gretchen is unconscious but still capable of talking.)
Tifa: "I'm now the superior sister, Gretchen!"
Gretchen: "Tifa, how dare you?"
Tifa: "All these years of benefits from our parents to you, are no longer effective."
Gretchen: "So, this means I'm no longer the favorite daughter of the Eillans?"
(Tifa approaches and almost attempts to kill her sister, but then suddenly changes her mind.)
Tifa: "No, and I'm not going to kill you."
Gretchen: "What?"
Tifa: "Even after these times where I was overshadowed and treated like dirt, I would never harm the only valuable sister I have... Forgive me."
(Tifa hugs Gretchen for five seconds, but the elder sister pushes the younger one to the ground, which she gets up easily.)
Gretchen: "I will never forgive you, Tifa!"
Tifa: "Then I'm going to take the Crystal Skull alone! I never needed you!"
Gretchen: "Go away, jackbutt... and don't come back!"
(Tifa runs towards Deathstructor's castle.)

Sub-Boss Cutscene:

(We cut to Deathstructor's lair as we hear his laugh as he sees Tifa through a crystal ball.)
Deathstructor: "So you have decided to fight me... However, this isn't going to happen soon."
(Deathstructor's skeletal right hand glows to the crystal ball. We cut to the castle with Tifa walking towards, as a black energy teleports him to a platform in a cave with lava surrounding it.)
Tifa: "I never recalled the existence of that place."
(We hear an animal growl for a while. Then, an hybrid creature starts to land the ground with a huge shockwave.)
Mantigore: "Nobody's going to step Deathopia, mortal!"
Tifa: "Who are you?"
Mantigore: "Are you ignorant? Your sister talked about me, Mantigore!"
Tifa: "Wait a minute... are you that one ancient Animal Spirit?"
(Mantigore screams in front of Tifa. The latter is now in her combat stance afterwards.)
Mantigore: "Thieves are bad people, so I'm going to eradicate you!"
Tifa: "You will pay for insulting me, creature!"

Final Boss Cutscene:

(Mantigore gets up easily.)
Mantigore: "I hate to admit, but you have good abilities with the daggers."
Tifa: "That's because I'm deadly and silent."
Mantigore: "My time here is over... go to his throne room as I'm resting myself in peace back at my homeland."
(Mantigore's eyes start to close as his ethereal body starts to disappear in front of her.)
Tifa: "Take care well, Mantigore."
(We cut to Deathstructor's lair, as he gets angry for Mantigore's vanishing, seeing through a crystal ball.)
Deathstructor: "How a petty thief like her defeated my best enforcer?" *laughs* "But her criminal career will be finished soon."
(Deathstructor's skeletal right hand glows to the crystal ball.  We cut back to the cave as Tifa is feeling a strange sensation.)
Tifa: "I will get the Crystal Skull soon!"
(Dark energies causes Tifa to be teleported to Deathstructor's throne room, a place located in the top of the castle, decorated in dark fantasy architecture. Deathstructor is seen sitting in his black throne.)
Deathstructor: "I heard you're the infamous Thief of Glasgow!"
Tifa: "Yes I am, and who are you?"
Deathstructor: "Good question! Name's Deathstructor, future harbinger of the apocalypse."
Tifa: "What do you mean with the apocalypse?"
Deathstructor: "Do you want this?" *shows to Tifa the Crystal Skull*
Tifa: "Yes! I want it!"
Deathstructor: "Never! You thieves are disgusting excuses of mankind, stealing everything they encounter in their path. The shadowy organization where you belongs, is no exception."
Tifa: "Hypocrite! I may be a thief, but my mission is far from a malevolent deed like yours!"
Deathstructor: "That's why I'm using the Crystal Skull, to eradicate not only mankind in Earth, but with every living being in every realm."
Tifa: "So be it, villain!"
(Tifa jumps in an attempt to take the Crystal Skull, but the deathly ruler pushes her back to the ground. Deathstructor unearths his scythe, Black Cleaver, out of the ground and grabs it as he starts to walk outside of his throne to the square one in front of Tifa, who gets up in the process.)
Deathstructor: "You dare to stop my invasion with those toys?"
Tifa: "These toys you are referring are Poison and Dagger, and they are deadly weapons worth of a killing."
Deathstructor: "The only killing happening here will be yours, criminal!"
(Tifa is now assuming in her combat stance.)

Ending cutscene:

(Deathstructor is defeated, however he gets up easily.)
Deathstructor: "Why I have to be defeated by a mere thief?"
Tifa: "The skull will be mine!"
Deathstructor: "It's mine by right!"
(Deathstructor runs towards Tifa and attempts to attack her, but is countered by her daggers, impaling the skeletal ruler in the chest for five seconds, injects a good dose of acid to him and then pulls off. Deathstructor starts to feel that his ironic death is starting now.)
Deathstructor: "Gah! I'm melting!"
Tifa: "Sleep well, skeletal creature. I'm taking the skull right now!"
(Tifa first jumps to the throne and takes the Crystal skull and then leaves the castle as the components of it are starting to fall while energy waves are starting to surround Deathstructor.)
Deathstructor: "The jail will await you soon, Tifa Eillan!"
(The waves cause Deathstructor to explode into bones. We cut to Tifa leaving the castle and summons Snakespiter, with the reptilian strecthing her body and carves her teeth to the already collapsed bridge, allowing Tifa to run quickly as the Deathopian castle is falling into pieces. We cut later to the Scottish Village as Tifa is seen talking with her master, who's described as a brown robed man whose face is always hidden.)
Thief's Guild Master (voiced by Matthew Mercer): "Congratulations, Tifa! I knew that you completed this risky mission. And now, give me the Crystal Skull!"
(Just as Tifa almost gives her master the box with the Crystal Skull, she stops from doing so.)
Tifa: "No! I changed my mind! I'm now giving this to Gretchen, my sister."
Thief's Guild Master: "Are you sure you're giving this to... that witch?"
Tifa: "Yes! I was so hard with her, so I need to take my differences aside."
Thief's Guild Master: "Have you remember that I enlisted you because they treated you like dirt?"
Tifa: "It's not what you think, master. Family is family, no matter if I'm not like them, and I know that I will never follow their footsteps, I will show her that I'm a valuable sister to her."
Thief's Guild Master: "Is what you insist... go ahead."
(Tifa then goes to the Eillan residence. We cut later Gretchen's Lab as she continues her research.)
Gretchen: "That jackbutt of my sister! Once she returns, I will put her in jail for making my life miserable!"
(We hear the door knocking as Gretchen turns around.)
Gretchen: "Who's there?"
(Gretchen runs and then opens the door as sees her sister Tifa.)
Gretchen: "Tifa? What are you doing here?"
Tifa: "Can I talk with you for a while?"
Gretchen: "Buzz off! You're not welcome here, black sheep!"
Tifa: "I just want to say that... here's the object."
(Tifa gives her sister Gretchen a box with a message that says "For you, sister.".)
Gretchen: "You did this... for me?"
Tifa: "Don't take this badly but... stealing sometimes has its advantages."
Gretchen: "How many times I warned you that stealing is bad... and you should feel bad."
Tifa: "I'm sorry, but I had to do this because I need to show my parents that I'm talented as you."
Gretchen: "I understand that you joined the Thief's Guild because of your resentment against me, but then I noticed that you still appreciate me after all... and because of this, I'm now forgiving you."
Tifa: "No resentments, Gretchen."
Gretchen: "How about a reconciliation hug?"
Tifa: "Sure! I never hugged in years!"
(Both sisters hug each other for ten seconds.)
Gretchen: "That's my younger sister!"
Tifa: "Wish daddy and mommy will see this heartwarming moment!"
Gretchen: "Now, the Eillans' bond are more stronger than ever!"
(But unberknownst to Gretchen, Tifa grabs the floating wand during the hug.)
Gretchen: "What are you doing? I thought you changed your ways."
Tifa: "See you later, sister!"
(Tifa then leaves the lab running with her sister's wand.)
Gretchen: "Hey! That's not fair!"
(We cut to the Scottish Village as Gretchen starts to purse her sister for the thievery as she calls the armored Scottish guards.)
Gretchen: "Guards, arrest my sorry excuse of a sister now! She has my wand!"
Guards: "At your orders, Miss Eillan!"
(The camera focuses on the pursuit with Benny Hill's "Yakety Sax" being played for twenty seconds, all while the pursuit is done in fast motion in the entire village before it returns to normal.)
Tifa: "Catch me if you can, sister!"
Gretchen: "You're a dead girl, Tifa!"
(The last take has Tifa running from her angry sister and the guards with her smile as the screen freezes frame.)
Tifa (v/o): "Yup! That was my story... Remember, players from the future, don't steal any valuable thing, even though it's precious or something like that. Otherwise, you will go to jail. Value your integrity!"
(After that, the screen fades black.)

(Avril Lavigne's "Keep Holding On" starts playing as the credits which background is accompanied of a papyrus with ink-stained reflections of the Animal Spirits while the credits are rolling.)
